Ruby Slippers

by The Goldfish (after Caroline Cardus)

Caroline Cardus is simply the greatest living disabled artist. You can have a look at some of her work inlcuding the original and superior Ruby Slippers at Dada South. Also her exhibition A Way Ahead for Disability? on the BBC News website.

The greatest dead disabled artist is Renoir, in case you were wondering.

Hey Goldfish,

You could poke someones eye with those ruby shoes :)

Look your slant on it though. take it that we are seeing a piece of The Golfish in this recreated masterpiece? :)

Hope you are feeling better today

hugs

Hi Goldfish, Those slippers are cool, they make you look like Dorothy from "The Wizard of Oz"
Hope you are ok.

Naturally, being a goldfish I have no legs; these are the legs of my alter-ego. Or am I, The Goldfish, my alter-ego? Now you've really got me confused.

I'm all right, thanks. Bit low, mostly just irritable today though. It's very frustrating as it occurred to me today that during the last week or so my health has been better than it has been in months and months, if not a year. Timing, eh?
